Il soggetto ripreso è una biblioteca, contenitore di cultura e fonte di libertà intellettuale. Poche teste ancora abbassate sulle pagine aperte, venute a sostenere l’ultimo giorno di attività. La biblioteca che si svuota perde la sua funzione, immagini di dettagli e passaggi si susseguono lentamente, emerge la malinconia evidenziata dalle macchie e dalla polvere che avanza. Un dubbio ci assale: ci sarà ancora uno spazio fisico dove custodire immagini e parole che testimoniano il nostro passato? O seguendo l’esempio incalzante della moderna evoluzione anche noi dimenticheremo la fisicità della nostra storia?

The subject taken is a library, place of culture and source of intellectual freedom. Few heads bent over open pages came to support the last day of activity. A library becoming empty loses its function, images of details and passages slowly follow one another, melancholy emerge becoming evident through the stains and the dust which progress. A doubt comes through us: will it still be a physical place where we could keep images and words, which reveal our past?
